Backed by heavy beats and booming Cali funk, the group pledges their allegiance to the Golden State, reminding listeners of their notable contributions to the game while taking aim against certain media, the East Coast, and all haters. The first album's title track soon became a hit, and introduced "Wesssiiiiiiiiide" to the contemporary hip-hop vernacular. The triumphant trio have continued to collaborate on solo and group projects. In 2003 they released their long-awaited follow up album Terrorist Threats.
