<title>Playlists Featuring Weirdos on Rhapsody Online</title><link>http://www.rhapsody.com/goto?rcid=art.6576&amp;variant=artist-playlists&amp;rws=%2Fweirdos%2Fplaylists.rss</link><description>More than one of the earliest and best Punk bands from Los Angeles, the Weirdos were arguably one of the best late 1970s Punk bands anywhere. Not dancing to "(We've Got the) Neutron Bomb" is like standing in front of a loaded gun without flinching -- it's unnatural. Confronting and obliterating consumer trends with a direct assault of audio and visual irreverence, the band spent almost as much time on their zany outfits as they did on their music. Before long, the Weirdos looked conservative compared to their rapid, pogo-happy audience -- probably the highest complement any self-respecting Punk band could hope for. The Weirdos disbanded in 1981, occasionally getting back together for one-off gigs during the 1980s and ultimately reforming officially for 1990's &lt;I&gt;Condor&lt;/I&gt;.
