<title>Playlists Featuring Ustad Sultan Khan on Rhapsody Online</title><link>http://www.rhapsody.com/goto?rcid=art.25251&amp;variant=artist-playlists&amp;rws=%2Fustad-sultan-khan%2Fplaylists.rss</link><description>Sultan Khan is arguably the world's hippest classical Indian musician, after Zakir Hussain. A master of the sarangi, a multi-stringed, bowed instrument, Khan was trained in the Indora gharana (school). He followed in the footsteps of his father, Ustad Gulab Khan, and grandfather, Ustad Azim Khan, who were both celebrated sarangi players and vocalists. Long respected as a master in the Hindustani classical tradition, Khan's career has seen a resurgance in recent years as he's branched out to embrace new-fangled electronica-classical hybrids. He's appeared on DJ Cheb I Sabbah's &lt;i&gt;Sri Durga&lt;/i&gt; and worked with Asian Underground outfit Tabla Beat Science and Zakir Hussain's Masters of Percussion.
