While attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, the two met and immediately hit it off. Their first animated project entitled <I>Cannibal! The Musical</I> got them noticed by FoxLab producer Brian Graden who was so impressed with their artistry that he hired Parker and Stone to create a crudely animated short <I>The Spirit Of Christmas</I> which was actually the prototype for the wonderfully offensive hit cartoon series, <I>South Park</I> which took off in 1997, garnering perhaps more accusations of corrupting children than even Marilyn Manson. All the controversy of course garnered them the kind of priceless press that you just can't buy and inevitably, Parker and Stone made an uncensored feature film for <I>South Park</I> with a plot based on...you guessed it...censorship. From the success of that movie, Parker and Stone were hired to create 1997's <I>Orgazmo</I> and 1998's <I>BASEketball</I> as well as a few comedy CD's based on their <I>South Park</I> series.
