He initially worked with QB producer Marley Marl and went by the name Intelligent Hoodlum. His self-titled 1990 debut was full of political commentary and heady messages in tracks such as "Arrest The President" and "Black And Proud." He came back in '93 as a straight-up gangsta, releasing the commercially ignored <i>Saga Of A Hoodlum</i>. Trag continued to record throughout the '90s, scoring massive underground hits with "Thug Paradise" and "L.A. L.A.," the latter of which introduced the world to Capone-N-Noreaga. He produced and rhymed on CNN's stellar '97 debut <i>The War Report</i> before severing ties with the duo. Tragedy's third album, <i>Against All Odds</i>, was scheduled to drop in '99, but label politics stifled the release. In 2001 he released <i>Thug Matrix</i> independently.
