Music Videos by Toni Basil on Rhapsody Online

Best known for her cheerleader garb and the catchy, childish simplicity of her New Wave anthem "Mickey," Toni Basil was a short, unforgettable blip on the musical screen. An early MTV favorite, her (self) choreographed video was unavoidable. Also an actress and dancer, Basil appeared in much beloved films such as The T.A.M.I. Show and Easy Rider, and worked with artist Bruce Conner in his experimental work. Her choreography can also be found in the movie American Graffiti, and recently she has attempted to take khakis back from the accountants with a successful Gap campaign.
