Starting with 1999's <i>Gun For You</i>, the band produced a number of indie releases and toured widely. By 2003, membership had diminished to a power trio of Fox, Lawrence, and Keeler, who issued <i>East Grand Blues</i> on V2 Records, which was produced by Brendan Benson in 2005.
