Music Videos by St. Vincent on Rhapsody Online

St. Vincent is Annie Clark, multitalented singer-songwriter and indie pop darling. Clark's distinctive sound melds an eccentric flair and a touch of drama with a Berklee-educated talent. The Oklahoma-born musician fine-tuned her chops after dropping out of college to join the massive alt-rock group the Polyphonic Spree, and soon after she hopped on tour backing Sufjan Stevens. In 2007, Clark released her debut solo album under the St. Vincent moniker. Marry Me is a beautiful, orchestral affair aided by a choir and numerous guest musicians on strings, brass, piano, synths and percussion. It's the first glimpse into Clark's versatility, not only as a writer and singer but also as a musician who plays everything from the organ to the dulcimer. St. Vincent's sophomore album, Actor, followed in 2009. The album's theatrical themes and whimsical arrangements helped land Clark much critical acclaim, not to mention a debut spot at No. 90 on the U.S. Billboard charts.
