Playlists Featuring Snowden on Rhapsody Online

Well-studied in the glistening gloom of '80s pop, Atlanta's Snowden started as the bedroom project of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Jeffares. Jeffares put a band together (naming it for a notable character from Joesph Heller's Catch 22) and immediately started working up and down the East Coast. By 2004, the band's word-of-mouth acclaim had brought larger audiences and Jeffares recast the group with drummer Chandler Renz, guitarist David Paine and bassist Corinne Lee. After sharing stages in their hometown with au currant indie rock royalty like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Arcade Fire, Snowden released their debut LP, Anti-Anti, on Jade Tree in August 2006.
