Sold on a BIG rock sound by this time, the lads were vulnerable to strains of Journey-meets-U2 arena rock excess. &lt;I&gt;What Starts Ends&lt;/I&gt; and &lt;I&gt;Room 101&lt;/I&gt; aren't bad records -- the vocals growl, the guitars resound -- but neither matches the desperados-of-doom majesty of &lt;I&gt;The Nephilim&lt;/I&gt;.
