Playlists Featuring Recliner on Rhapsody Online

San Francisco's Recliner includes Kevin Seidel (guitar, vocals) Ward Evans (guitar), George Carney (bass) and John Benson (drummer), who met at a self-defense course and started playing together in the summer of 2003. They hit the ground running and had written, recorded and released a self-titled EP by the fall of that year on their own Poison Pen Records. The follow up, 2004's Make A Friend, was recorded at indie king John Vanderslice's Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco. The band supported the record with appearances around the Bay Area and, eventually, Japan, and followed it in 2006 with tranquilizer, also released on Poison Pen.
