Music Videos by Project Pat on Rhapsody Online

This Memphis rapper and close affiliate of Three Six Mafia (Three Six's producer/co-founder Juicy "J" is his brother), Project Pat first made a name for himself through various collaborations with that notoriously hardcore crew. Strapped with a heavy Dirty South drawl and comically extreme lyrics, Pat began dropping solo records in 1999, debuting with Ghetty Green, followed by the independently-released Murderers & Robbers. 2000 was a huge year for Pat, as he found massive, coast-to-coast love for two singles; Three Six Mafia's codeine-flavored "Sippin On Some Syrup" and his own breakout hit, "Chickenhead." His third LP, Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin, went platinum, even though he was sitting in jail on a robbery charge. In 2002, after being busted with guns in his ride, Project Pat was sentenced to four years in jail. His fourth full-length, Layin' Da Smack Down, was released two months later. After serving three years in prison, Project Pat was released on July 27, 2005. He quickly got back to work, and in 2006 released his sophmore album, the excellent Crook By the Book: The Fed Story.
