The school exposed Pambo to the music world, including major labels, and in 2006 she signed to Sony BMG and immediately began work on her first album. With help from her old friend Mariano, producer Aureo Baqueiro and Billy of the Mexican rock group Motel (who coauthored several tracks), Pambo released her debut, the appropriately titled <I>Poprocks</i>, in 2007.
