<title>Pambo Discography on Rhapsody Online</title><link>http://www.rhapsody.com/goto?rcid=art.15154574&amp;rws=%2Fpambo%2Fdiscography.rss</link><description>As a college student, Pambo had to choose between her two loves: mathematics and music. As one biographer put it, "notes beat numbers" in her quest to express herself. She ended up at Mexico's prestigious Fermatta music school, where she met guitarist Mariano. He became an important friend and collaborator who encouraged her when her family still questioned her decision to pursue music. The school exposed Pambo to the music world, including major labels, and in 2006 she signed to Sony BMG and immediately began work on her first album. With help from her old friend Mariano, producer Aureo Baqueiro and Billy of the Mexican rock group Motel (who coauthored several tracks), Pambo released her debut, the appropriately titled &lt;I&gt;Poprocks&lt;/i&gt;, in 2007. Teetering between fey pop and slightly mussed rock 'n' roll, the release was a beautifully crafted and promising debut.
