<title>Music Videos by Michelle Shocked on Rhapsody Online</title><link>http://www.rhapsody.com/goto?rcid=art.1765&amp;rws=%2Fmichelle-shocked%2Fmusic-videos.rss</link><description>One of the first Adult Alternative singer-songwriters, Michelle Shocked got airplay all over America with her single "Anchorage." The album it was pulled from, &lt;i&gt;Short Sharp Shocked&lt;/i&gt; (1988), found itself on a heap of "best of" lists, but she hasn't been able to sustain any sort of mass popularity (an extended fight with her label hasn't helped). Shocked remains an above average songwriter, but her talents are now obscured by the legions of modern female folkies who followed in her wake.
