Playlists Featuring Lindstrom on Rhapsody Online

Perhaps it was being raised on country and western music, or playing the piano for a gospel choir, or possibly manning the Hammond organ for a Deep Purple tribute band. Regardless, by the time Norwegian Hans-Peter Lindstrom reached his twenties, he became disillusioned with music, sold his instruments and went off to study literature at the University of Oslo. Fortunately for us, that malaise was short-lived, for he soon found himself playing again, and gradually began to take an interest in dance music. He brought a fresh perspective to production, seeking to bring his love of '60s and '70s rock and pop to the scene. Remixing work followed, and his well-received re-rubs of LCD Soundsystem, Franz Ferdinand and the Juan Maclean soon had people wanting a release of his own. Taking control, Lindstrom established his Feedelity Recordings label and started to put out more of his original compositions, culminating in his debut long player It's A Feedelity Affair and its massive club-stormer "I Feel Space." 2008 found his cosmic disco tilting toward still more distant regions with Where You Go I Go Too.
