<title>Music Videos by Jim Lauderdale on Rhapsody Online</title><link>http://www.rhapsody.com/goto?rcid=art.2548&amp;rws=%2Fjim-lauderdale%2Fmusic-videos.rss</link><description>Jim Lauderdale is a singer-songwriter whose songwriting career has far outstripped his success as a singer. He's been covered numerous times by George Strait, as well as by Vince Gill, Mark Chesnutt, and many other mainstream Nashville hit-makers. However, it's somewhat of a mystery that he has not become a singing star. Lauderdale has a wonderful, soul-inflected voice with a broad range. He is also a kinetic and engaging performer. In a perfect world he would top the charts alongside Brooks and Dunn. Mickey Newbury, Billy Joe Shaver and Steve Young have had similar careers, so Lauderdale is in very good company.
