Music Videos by Jakob Dylan on Rhapsody Online

Jakob Dylan is certainly most famous for being the son of Bob Dylan and leader of the band the Wallflowers. In 2008, he released his first solo album, following four albums recorded by the Wallflowers between 1996 and 2007. After an initial stumble and subsequent release by Virgin Records, that band's 1996 Interscope debut, Bringing Down the Horse, became a massive hit on the adult alternative scene thanks to the songs "One Headlight" and especially "6th Avenue Heartache." The Wallflowers fit perfectly beside such similar (and successful) bands Toad the Wet Sprocket, Counting Crows, 10,000 Maniacs, etc. Despite releasing four more albums and continuing to tour, the band faded from the limelight somewhat as the '90s gave way to the '00s. Over the course of the band's activity, Dylan made sporadic guest appearances and contributed a song to the television show Six Degrees ("Here Comes Now") before embarking on a solo career with the release of Seeing Things in 2008.
