Music Videos by Fair To Midland on Rhapsody Online

Signed to Serj Tankian's Serjical Strike label, Fair To Midland specializes in modern thinking dudes' metal, not unlike Tankian's own band, System of a Down. The difference is Fair To Midland plays a more "traditional" form of radio metal, eschewing the Eastern European folk influences and bizarre vocal stylings of SOAD for straight-up melody hooks and less-unhinged vocals. Those vocals come courtesy of one Darroh Sudderth, and bring to mind the high-flying range of Triumph's Rik Emmett. Fair To Midland formed in Sulphur Springs, Tx., in 1998. After releasing a pair of albums on their own -- The Carbon Copy Silver Lining in 2001 and Inter.Funda.Stifle in 2004 -- they were picked up by Serjical Strike in 2006. Fables Of A Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True hit the shelves in June 2007.
