The group includes vocalist Chuck Parker, guitarists Garrin Walker and Jason Hall, bassist Eric Hartis, and drummer Russ Dignam. After issuing an independent EP, they became popular though various Internet radio services and a self-titled full-length in September 2005. The record featured a number of singles calibrated for mainstream rock radio, including "15 Beers Ago" and "Splatter," and helped them ink a deal with the majors. Their first album on Virgin, …And Other Distractions, appeared in February 2008 with a number of retooled songs from their debut.
