The sound was Americana in its purest form, drawing on traditions from the Flying Burrito Brothers, the Band and Exile-era Stones. Their self-titled debut came in 2004, followed by wide touring and a deal with Bloodshot for their proper follow-up, Silver Mountain, which arrived in 2007.
