Their best recordings were crammed onto the excellent compilation <i>Surrender to the Rhythm</i> (1991), and vocalist Nick Lowe wrote songs such as "Cruel to Be Kind" and "(What's So Funny 'bout) Peace, Love and Understanding" during this time.
