<title>Backyard Babies Discography on Rhapsody Online</title><link>http://mp3.rhapsody.com/goto?rcid=art.7955&amp;rws=%2Fbackyard-babies%2Fdiscography.rss</link><description>Not afraid to let their Heavy Metal roots shine through, the Backyard Babies volley between sneering Punk and big stage, exploding lights arena rock. In their thin, pale bodies and sunken eyes, as well as in their sterling guitar riffs and stylish vocals, one can sense these Swedes hold the New York Dolls in high regard. As they move into the smaller, smellier punk arena, the Backyard Babies throw amazingly giant Scandinavian rock 'n' roll sound around the streets of New York's Lower East Side. More akin to L.E.S. Stitches than West Coast contemporaries Rancid, the Babies quickly bring the guitars to a boil with a 1-2 count, and they don't let up from then on, constantly attacking with two-fingers-in-the-air, sing-along vocals and a solid rhythm. Guitarist Dregen spent time in Sweden's hottest new rock export, the Hellacopters.
