<title>Music Videos by Atari Teenage Riot on Rhapsody Online</title><link>http://www.rhapsody.com/goto?rcid=art.4572&amp;rws=%2Fatari-teenage-riot%2Fmusic-videos.rss</link><description>Hardcore demigod Alec Empire, the erratic Carl Crack, venomous vocalist Hanin Alias and recent recruit/Power Electronics wizard Nic Endo form the already legendary entity Atari Teenage Riot. Pairing the immediacy of Hardcore dance beats with the urgency and sentiments of Hardcore Punk, the German quartet uses music as a platform for political change. Each track of beats and distortion forms a driving vehicle for simplistic, dogmatic chants of leftist revolution. ATR play the line between radical poseurs (their anti-capitalist missives appear on major labels) and revolutionaries who live their words (witness their arrest for performing at a peaceful-protest-turned-riot in Berlin). Their unique sounds and fearless words arrived at a perfect moment, when Punk had become musically stale and dance music was becoming increasingly apolitical.
