Fronted by the high-pitched music critic/singer Metal Mike Saunders and with Gregg Turner and a number of others blasting away on guitar, Angry Samoans hit a critical nerve in the Los Angeles Punk scene. While their songs were some of the most likeably stupid around (e.g., "My Old Man's A Fatso"), they left the comic book silliness to the Dickies.
